Hasley Pitman is an undergraduate student in the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. She is studying telecommunication – news, with a minor in leadership.

She currently is an anchor and reporter for PBS affiliate, WUFT-TV. She also has reported and produced for NPR affiliate, WUFT-FM 89.1. She has interned with WCJB-TV20 in Gainesville, Florida, and shadowed at CBS47-Action News Jax in Jacksonville, Florida. She plans to graduate in the Spring of 2020 and attend law school to become a media correspondent.

Hasley is an Executive Recruitment Board member for UF’s College of Journalism and Communications Ambassadors, helping oversee recruitment, giving tours and tutoring students. She is on the Executive Board as Vice President of Membership for the Alpha Psi Chapter of Delta Delta Delta. She also has been a Public Relations Captain for Dance Marathon at UF, helping run the social media accounts and raising money for the kids at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
