“Best Breaking News”


I am very honored to have received the Florida AP Broadcasters “Best Breaking News” award for the 2018 Radio College Competition. I could not attend the awards banquet in the Spring, but I recently received my plaque for my piece I reported and produced for WUFT-FM. The radio report covered an opioid dealer being charged with first-degree murder for the first time in Ocala for an overdose. Listen below:
